Starting out with the famous Toccata…
nice first
time to hear it
Love the album and this track just stands out. Think I first heard it on Tommy Vance Friday rock show ??????
kick ass stuff
Simon Phillips sounds like Cozy Powell
Mostly the main mellody (rock part) of that song a little remaind me a Deep purple track "Knocking at the door"
Fantastic
Simon Phillips on this track and Cozy Powell on Tender Babes.
I bought this album when it came out and still have it.
Jon Lord era o cara!
Last song of LP.
Capolavoro
Muito bom pra escutar depois de fazer um ritual!!!!!
I always liked Jon better than Keith emerson. Nothing's wrong with KE, I just like Jon's compositions better
Of course we all get the "knot in trunk" reference on this album cover but I think the real reason for the knot is that without it this elephant's trunk would be absurdly long! So long, in fact, it simply would not have fit on the album cover… The knot therefore serves a more practical purpose. It also keeps the elephant from dragging its trunk along the ground, from stepping on the oversized appendage and from continuously smelling its own farts.

John played majestic as a Madrigal gentleman and as hard as metal,a pioneer and great musician of this era who will never be surpassed.
