Steppenwolf – Born to be wild 1969

Steppenwolf – Born to be wild 1969
(Soundtrack of the road film ‘Easy Rider’)

Get your motor runnin’
Head out on the highway
Lookin’ for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Darlin’ go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space

I like smoke and lightning
Heavy metal thunder
Racin’ with the wind
And the feelin’ that I’m under
Yeah Darlin’ go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space

Like a true nature’s child
We were born, born to be wild
We can climb so high
I never wanna die

Born to be wild
Born to be wild Steppenwolf – Born to be wild 1969

  1. Steppenwolf for the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame !
People make fun of me because I love old music. Like what's wrong with this music?

  2. "~LIFE~" is exciting if you make "Fun" plans. (It's your "Perspective" on Life that determines how you feel toward life. A "Positive" Outlook makes life much more exciting.) For example. A couple dozen "Good Hearted, Fun Loving" Biker BIGFOOT friends and I just made plans to drive our noisy motorcycles around on the next beautiful day. Yes, folks, The BIGFOOT's are between 10 -12 feet tall and hairy. They look as intimidating as hell. But, like our "Theme Song" states here. "I like smoke'in lightning." – "Take the world in a Love'in ways". NOTE: Be sure to "Crank it up" when you listen to this song. -Bill Howes.

  3. Drummer , nothing but bidness, basic trap set, no frills, Lead guitar, Rickenbaker, Bass , Rickenbacker, Organ , could be found in any Church, Lead vocal/front man with a mic, ROCK solid. This is about as basic as one could equip and set up a 5 piece band, yet the sound is FAT, nothing lacking. Original material , original application of music, Utilitarian Rock n roll perfection. lean, clean, cleans the shit out your ears ROCK.
Bad to the Bone original members and progenitors of the steppenwolf sound.

lead singer John Kay, keyboardist Goldy McJohn, and drummer Jerry Edmonton (all formerly in Canadian band The Sparrows).[6] Guitarist Michael Monarch and bass guitarist Rushton Moreve
