Official audio for “25 Or 6 To 4” by Chicago.
From the album Chicago II.
Lyrics:
Waiting for the break of day
Searching for something to say
Flashing lights against the sky
Giving up I close my eyes
Sitting cross-legged on the floor
25 or 6 to 4
Staring blindly into space
Getting up to splash my face
Wanting just to stay awake
Wondering how much I can take
Should I try to do some more
25 or 6 to 4
Feeling like I ought to sleep
Spinning room is sinking deep
Searching for something to say
Waiting for the break of day
25 or 6 to 4

Goddamn, that’s a great tune.
Wow!
Thanks to the Gelish Brothers for teaching me the Bass Line….as close as I ever came to playing a real instrument. Love the tune still!
Isn't this song about doin smack??
I'm playing a lot of chicago songs for my marching show this year! i'm so excited we're playing Saturday in the Park, Hard to Say I'm Sorry/Get Away, I'm a Man and 25 or 6 to 4. We just got home from camp and we have the first three drills done and added music to the first two even though it was so miserably hot outside! We sound and look good and I can't wait for the first game!!
King of the Hill brought me here. Not sure why anyone would willingly listen to this garbage.

No wonder my band teacher picked this song…
