It's the Muslim Brotherhood in Saudi Arabia. They rule the Muslim world. Backward thinking and evil. I think this song is about them, these rich sheiks who control everything. The oil & money. They control whole Far East and have for years. Muslim faith is not for me, but is a peaceful religion. Though I like no man made religion anyway. I find religion to be a control, scare tactic on people. Control power and money. This crap leads to wars. I'd rather see schools than churches! Peace, not war. Look how bad the war is now, and will go on for years. Even after I'm dead. Always some stupid war somewhere in world. I dig this song! Rock bands seem to understand things better than most of us. Be in a rock band, you can express about anything you desire. Have a war, you got population control built-in. That nice mountain turns to hole in ground.
their music is so eclectic and diverse that one can't categorize them at all. They've been called a "metal" band but thats far from accurate. The term "underrated" gets thrown around a lot but its extremely accurate when it comes to BOC.
I saw one of the first shows of the Cultosaurus Erectus tour in July 1980. I vividly remember Eric Bloom introducing this song by saying "this one's for the Ayatollah Khomeini"!
This turned up on my iPod shuffle today, completely out of the blue. It was the first time I'd heard it in literally decades. I'd forgotten just how fantastic it is.
tripped on approximately 300ug of acid to this song and every time i hear it i get flash backs of over 1000's of snakes crawling on me as soon as i headed back to my college dorm and fell on my bed…..its crazy cuz i was listening to this during my trip to help me cope but for some reason after smoking pot with fellow dorm mates we headed back to our dorms and went separate ways (that day i took more tabs than they did)…. and for some reason after getting into the dorm and trying to sleep as i got into my little bed i hallucinated as if 1000"s of snakes were crawling on me and i gave up and kept telling myself its just the lsd but for some reason this song got me through it and now i can not stop listening to it!
Back in the day, listening to this song and examining this album cover used to give me the creeps. Perfect for imagining gigantic lumbering beasts flopping around.
Fuck the liberal media…they will NEVER control my thoughts! BOC was talking about the Iranian evil dogs, and where they ALL need to go!
And this muslim/commie president will join them!
And this WHOLE album was AWESOME!!
ALL you fucking muzlim basturds can go straight to hell and the sooner the better.
2 people need to be taken hostage.
We are the Devil. Nothing to be ashamed of.
I think Buck was at his peak on this Album and still heads and shoulders above the rest. So inspiring.
Wake up you fools…the libtards are evil, and they already got you convinced!

This is one of my favorites from "Cultosaurus Erectus" – classic BOC!
In my point of view "Cultosaurus Erectus" the best album of BÖC
Grace of God. Thy will be done.
jackels in waistcoats …men in sheets

Nothing else like this song—-One of a kind—Buck Darhma, lead guitar is in a class all his own, un frickin believable—-Heed the mesage.
best blues song i ever heard about America1
I can't get enough of BOC!
Blood of bat, tail of newt
Wing of metal, bone of steel
Vial of health, flask of pain
Staff of life or poison rain
If he really thinks we're the devil
Then let's send him to hell
Fast food, fast cars
Fast women, movie stars
Time of trouble, time of trial
Turn to Memphis, pray awhile
If he really thinks we're the devil
Then let's send him to hell
Anxious mothers, bums in the street
Jackals in waistcoats, men in sheets
Purple mountains, waves of grain
Grace of God, thy will be done
If he really thinks we're the devil
Then let's send him to hell
Thoa
This is the kinda tune that I would put in a “feel good” playlist along with dire straits’ six blade knive.
Lexis put up agents the one we got noe is NOT a good sounder
